NEW INSULATION INSTALLATION​

It is important to choose the right company to install insulation.  There are many things to consider when installing new insulation.  This project we opted to remove all of the existing insulation because the roof slope was low and we needed to have adequate airspace for proper ventilation.  In the photos you will see foam baffles installed.  This is to prevent the insulation from blocking the intake vents located at your soffit.  It is extremely important to maintain proper airflow, as it is critical for healthy roof and sheathing life.  We then blow loose fill cellulose to achieve a minimum of R-40 rating.  We prefer to go beyond what code calls for as code is the absolute minimum required.
